Hi, I am checking in to get info on new tires. I will be needing tires soon. Does anyone have a good place to buy them online? Do anyone think that 6ply is nessasary if not hauling heavy loads. How wide of tires can I get by without rubbing? I read in a post a while back about using the tires and rims off of a kubota tractor, does anyone know the manufactor and the price of the tires? The orange rims would look odd on a camo machine. I don't need anything that is terrible aggressive because I am on and off road and don't want the blacktop to eat up the tires too fast. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks for all the info I am sure to get in advanced.

I'd stick with the OEM rims and look at getting a set of something that's kind of an All-Season type of tire. I'm fond of the Maxxis Bighorns myself.

My best pick for what you are describing would be the Maxxis Bighorn Radials. They will serve you very well, they are not to aggressive, and I think they would do you great on both on and off road services >>>>>>>.

I would imagine you could go with the 26" x 9" x 12 on the front, and install the 26" x 12" x 12" on the back, and you be good to go !!!

On our machine, we are running the ITP 589's, but I wouldn't put them on the road, they wouldn't last long at all having the tread that they do.... I would know several folks who has the Bighorn tires, and they do last pretty good !!!!

Wouldn't go no less than a 6 ply on the RTV !!!

Blinko,

Were you going to re-use the OEM rims or are you looking for a whole tire/rim combo?

If re-using OEM rims, buy the same size.

I'd either go that size or 25x10x12 all the way around.

www.allterrainonline.com and a couple other places have them.
