Transmission

I have two(2) Kubota 1140RTV with less than 300 hrs each. Both have exhibited transmission shifting problems. One is stuck in M with no ability to shift to L, H and R. The lack of R is a pain in the butt.
The other one is exhibiting clutch problems with getting hard to go up a hill in M when it never was a problem in the past.
Can anyone help? Thanks much

could be the shift fork is broken in the first rtv? common problem when people are impatient and force the shift. as for the second rtv ---there isn't a clutch in these so i suppose you should check the hydrostat oil and should change the oil and filters on the transmission as soon as possible

Thank you so much. I was looking for things to do this week end.

you can search this site for "shift fork problems" and find some good posts with instructions of how to check and repair. caution--- only use kubota brand super udt oil in the transmission and oem filters.
