Water in hydraulic system 1100 MF

I have a lot of water in my hydraulic system of my 1100 MF. Can it be getting contaminated internally through the cooling system or does it have to be from external source? I did leave the tractor out in the open the last 2 winters. Thank you for any advice.
 
Not much chance it's engine coolant. Antifreeze makes a noticeable pudding mixture when mixed with oil. Most likely rain water entering from above the transmission or rear end somewhere.
 
Fedup is right. Check if your hydraulic oil looks milky or grayish-white; that's the clearest sign of water mixing in.

Let the tractor sit for a few hours and drain from the bottom of the tank. Free water will sink and you can drain it off. But honestly, given how long it's been sitting outside, a full oil change is probably the safer call since water degrades the oil's additives even after the water is removed.

Also, worth checking your tank breather and filler cap seals. That's usually how rain gets in on older machines. You can read How to Remove Water From Hydraulic Oil for more.
