I do not own a tractor, so I probably use my RTV 1100 to do stuff that I would normally use a tractor for. Most of it is not out of the ordinary. This is what I have done with the RTV, so far!
1. Hauling firewood-I am amazed at how much firewood I can haul with my trailer and in my bed. A few times things were a little hairy getting out of the woods getting up a steep grade, but she always comes through.
2. York raking stone.
3. Hauling stone.
4. Snow plowing a long rough shale driveway with Blizzard plow.
5. Straightening out a metal pole we had a bird feeder on. A black bear bent it down even with the ground. I could not budge it by hand, the RTV pulled it back ,almost straight.
6. Moving brush from topped trees to make brush piles for the cottontail bunnies.
7. Prisoner transport -During the spring two years ago, I was driving through my in-laws hay fields with the intention of making some bunny piles. As I came over a hill, I saw a young man (21 yoa) in the middle of the field using a pick ax and shovel. I drove up to the lad in my RTV 1100 and asked him what he was doing. He replied "nothing." I talked to the lad a while more when he finally admitted he was planting marijuana (in my 83 year old mother-in-law's fields). I suggested (strongly) he have a seat in the RTV. After some hesitation, I prompted him to have a seat. We drove to the main road, I contacted my in-laws and told them since it was their land, I wanted them to let me know what they wanted done with the lad. I was angry with the kid and upset that he would put my elderly in-laws 80 acre old farmstead at risk for being seized. My mo-in-law said she wanted the State Police called. I am a retired trooper from New England, now living in Pennsylvania. I really thought I was all done with this nonsense. The P.S.P. sent two Troopers out and cited the kid into court. The kid was on probation for another offense and went to jail for approximately one year for the probation violation and the marijuana cultivation.
