What's that click?

When I turn off my RTV there is a click that comes about 10 seconds after it is shut off. Anyone have any ideas what it is?

Ido not know, but mine does it also. I know someone out there has the answer >>> We'll just have to wait & see.I just might call my dealer tomorrow, for that is a question that been on my mind also >>>>>>
 
It's the "Engine Stop Solenoid". It has a 10 second timer relay.

When you turn off your key, it immediately uses the fuel stop solenoid to cut the fuel (which then turns off the RTV) but I can't remember all the details of what this particular solenoid does. If I recall correctly, this solenoid sits just above the injector pump and is clearly visible when the cargo box is lifted. If you follow the linkage, you can see what's being engaged (or disengaged).
 
I'm just guessing...

After the engine dies from no fuel, does the solenoid then release turning the fuel back on? My suspicion is that if you use other methods to start the engine in case the battery is dead the fuel is on.
