Why would they abuse their RTV like this?

What abuse???.....For me, I do lots more than that with my 05 before breakfast every day...........lololol....Seriously, no abuse there, just a guy making a commercial for the folks that don't know better....God bless.....Dennis

He said in the comments that he bent the side rail or tailgate making that video.

I dig up and move a lot of rocks way bigger than that, but I use my Kubota L48 to unearth them and move them.

Our RTV has it easy. Firewood, manure buckets, sand/dirt, wood chips, fishing and shooting gear, hunting, etc.,.
 
I would not load big rocks like that but mine has hauled a lot heavier loads than that while getting firewood. Loads of gravel and other stuff loaded with the skid steer weigh more also.
 
I have bigger dents in the tailgate on mine just from doing fire wood.If you want it scratch free and dent free keep it parked in the barn I say.
 
It's the heavy stuff and things I haul that helps make the payment . If not for that then I couldn't justify it's cost. I do however put a piece of plywood in the bottom to take the licks. I don't abuse but I sure do use . The other day, I got 3 sweetlick tubs (250 lbs ea) in the back along side my toolbox. It is well below the load rating but they are "fragile" if piled up. I just carefully slide them out of the skid steer bucket into the cargo bed and then slide or roll them out of it by tilt or hand- protecting the tailgate by either letting it hang down: or using an extra piece of plywood . :tiphat: collie

Ours gets used every day on our 50 acre horse farm and has every day since we bought it new in March of 2005. But we don't abuse it.

I owned a construction company for 25 years before selling my company and retiring at age 45.

If any of my guys had ever done that to a piece my equipment just to "prove it could handle it", that would have been his last day working for me.
