WINCH MOUNTING PLATE

Dam, I just can't seem to stop thinking of better ways of mounting the winch. Must say I am kind of disappointed with what most company's have on the market for the RTV. The OEM stuff is nice but very pricey.
Well I started cutting metal in the shop today and have come up with a new mounting plate for my Super-winch 3500. By the way, it sure as hell will not go in that hole upfront, and even if it did I would not be sticking my pink hands in there for any reason.
Had a buch of 1/4 inch thick square and rectangular tubing, the new design will mount in the 12mm holes on the bumper and the smaller 10mm holes in the cubby. I have also incorporated a couple of shackles up front so I can double winch and really pull the bumper off ! HA!!
Should have this think done and painted by Friday if nothing breaks between now and then!
Guys I really enjoy the site, makes for fun reading.:doggy:Moose

Another question??
how do you post a picture icon with your name??

If you can post the pics, I just mounted a 4500, I used 1/4" plate and 2"x 2" x 1/4" angle iron. I also used the 4 holes in the cubby and 2 in the front. Nothing welded to the machine.

You tease us and make us wait until Friday. Dang... if my woman did that... I'd still wait for Friday. :boobies:

On the top left of every page (in the tool bar), click on User CP.

On the left side of that page, click on Edit Profile Picture

From there, you can link to one or upload from your computer.
