Yukon

Any of you guys live in Medicine Hat in the Yukon, i work at UPS and the guy hollererd at me the other day that does international packages about a box going there from the Kubota dealer.Stones, close by me and someone up that way is getting a turbo kit i bet, i was at Stones and they had a display set up on a head in their showroom so i got to look it over, great dealer by the way.

Sorry, Whatscookin--Medicine Hat is in Alberta like San Francisco is in Arizona. :-) Medicine Hat is a city in Alberta--a Canadian Province to the south and east of Yukon, which is a Canadian territory (almost, but not quite, a province). Full marks for having us in Canada, though. Many of my American friends think I live in Alaska. :-)

Roger that. Medicine Hat is maybe 2,500 miles away from Whitehorse. We likely won't see that turbo kit, even on a clear day. It's okay ... I once had a postal clerk in Vanderhoof, B. C., upon being handed a letter to Dawson City, Yukon, ask me .... "Is that in Alaska" ??? What can you do ??? RR

Good thing i'am a mechanic and have nothing to do with sorting packages, i work out of a small center and just thought it was a intersting name for a town and someone is getting a turbo frome way down here, i get some jabs from a couple of the guys at work that have rangers but i just smile and go on, there are pluses and minuses to everything.

Hey, no worries, WC. It is an interesting name. Not unlike the Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump Interpretive Centre also in Alberta.

A few years back, the Canadian government produced a great number of high gloss maps in order to promote one of their no doubt questionable endeavors, and they drew the boundaries of the Yukon incorrectly. Stuff happens. Thanks for thinking of us. RR
