z355e Traction Belt Replacement struggles

After replacing the clutch where the hole had bored out from the anti slip bracket I am still struggling with the belt slipping off, now it's with getting the bracket in the proper placement to not get the belt in a bind.

Any assistance so that this grass can get taken down would be great. It's been over a month of working on said mower or waiting on parts to work on it and I'm ready to bury it in the septic pond

Can't really tell what's going on in the pic but that belt shouldn't be touching steel like that. Is the belt routed properly?
