wiring?
Feel free to consider me 'electronically challenged' but does the lighted switch for the headlights & worklights require additional wiring to a power source for the illumination to work? If yes, then where/how. Thanks.
Based on how the front/rear work lights are mounted on an 1100 cab (on what appears to be some type of cushioning/isolation points for the cab), is it possible to add additional lights to the other mounting points? Does the headliner have to be removed? Can I add more lights to the same circuits?
Can the bolts for the cab roof mounts (on an 1100) be removed & replaced without any problems or is there any unseen hardware that could be lost during the process? We're considering adding more lights in addition to the two in front and the one in back.
Update on low power
My dad called the dealer about the lack of power and a mechanic came to look at it. The mechanic said something was definitely wrong with it but he didn't know what it was. He also said he might possibly call the company for any possible information. It will be ready for...
Is it possible to hook up lights for a small trailer into the electrical system for an RTV 1100? Nothing fancy; just something for a little extra safety when occaissionally on the road.
My dad & I had been wondering why we didn't have a front receiver hitch. Today I discovered that we do have one but the winch mounting system is blocking the receiver. There's a piece of angle iron that attaches to the front of the winch and then to the grille guard but covers the receiver...
Does anyone have any suggestions for increasing/improving the power on an 1100? My dad put 26 inch tires (8ply GBC Grim Reapers) on as soon as he bought the 1100 so we may have lost some oomph there (he wanted 27's but I thought that might be too tall). Looking for any and all thoughts. Thanks.
