We burned down an unwanted house for Tax Deduction!

I had the same experience with our local VFD. They told me they didn't have any interest in burning down my house. I ended up burning it down myself this past fall. A motorist passing by saw this and called 911 to report a house fire. A volunteer fireman showed up in his personal vehicle and...

    Does your RTV1140 overheat

My 1140 was running right in the middle of the temperature gauge but now that it has turned cool it doesn't even get that high.

    RTV 1140

The payload is rated at 1600 pounds and the tow rating is 1300 pounds. Seeing what some people do with their RTV900's I think this is a little on the low side of its capabilities. It is going to be fun seeing how much work it will do. :17875:

    RTV 1140

I did it! RTV1140CPX; orange with ATV tires will arrive tomorrow! I didn't order any accessories right now and will decide later on what I want. The price today was $450 less than my Oct 1st quote. I'll post pictures as soon as I take some!

    RTV 1140

So it's not for driving without using the foot pedal? All it does is keep the engine RPM's up?

    RTV 1140

What exactly is a hand throttle on an RTV? I guess I have never seen one.

    RTV 1140

I have a few different sheds that I might park the 1140 in and none of them have actual garage doors, just openings. I hope to build a new barn in the future and the RTV would have a dedicated spot.

    RTV 1140

I am leaning towards the ATV tires for my terrain. It also sounds like the platic canopy is best. I would have guessed the metal top would be better but I do plan to go in the woods and don't want to dent up a metal one. How are the power wired run to the lights on the roof? Are they run up...

    RTV 1140

Good point about the tires. I hadn't given that much thought. I will mainly be driving in pasture and also on some very mild trails in my woods. Most of the areas stay pretty dry but like anywhere a big rain can make mud pretty quickly. I understand the RTV is heavy but I don't want to get...

    RTV 1140

Just for clarification the 1140 does not come with a cab as the 1100 does.

    RTV 1140

I'm new to the RTV area of this forum but I'm seriously considering getting a new RTV 1140. I've driven one extensively at my dealer and I really like it. I'm looking for opinions on which Kubota accessories I should get or avoid because they aren't worth it. Any other advice you want to give...

    2007 3010 Trans Mule 4x4

I'm looking for opinions on this Mule I found for sale at a local tractor dealership. Hour meter reads 193, but I'm not positive that is accurate. Asking price is $7,500. Is there anything specific I should be looking for when examining it? Thanks for any tips.

    Bobcat CUTs (with pic)

This is the first indicator I look for to tell if a tractor is 2wd or 4wd. While it is fairly rare to see a 2wd CUT, each of the big three still offer 2wd models of CUT's.

    ZTR air pressure

Why is it that we always say "it looks fine" when dealing with tire pressure even though every one of us know the looks don't always tell the tale!

Air filter - oil bath, paper element?

I have a 1961 Dodge pickup with an oil bath filter. I inherited the truck and it hadn't been running for a while when I got interested in working on it. The first time I opened the housing above the carburetor it was dry as a bone and I thought the paper element was missing. It took someone...
