http://ammunitionaccountability.org/Legislation.htm They are trying this in a lot of different states very quietly. In Pa. they want to charge a nickel a round tax and submit ALL ammo purchasers to a state police database. On top of that they want us to file a tax return annually for all ammo purchased. we would be required to dispose of all NON fingerprinted ammo we currently own!! If they want mine I will dispose of it as they come up the hill. LIVE TARGETS are always welcome here. Bill

They are going to try everything possible to slowly bleed the gun owners. But it's not going to work. To many 'ole corn feed boys . Have you checked the price of reloading supplies lately ? I will say this much, if one can afford to purchase extra when he can, it would truely pay-off later.

~~~~~ and yes, live targets are always welcome my friend, ALWAYS !!!!
I've heard this all my life, and I do belive this in my heart >>>> " GIVE THEM ENOUGH ROPE, THEY WILL HANG THEMSELVES "
Now, it's just a matter of sitting back and watching, they have the rope ..... They better enjoy this election, for I also believe, he's in for a really big surprise ~~~~~~
Re: Coons in the White House
This morning on Fox news they had a story about a bunch of racoons that were marauding around the White House grounds. Seems that they can't catch up with them for capture. They must also be "the ruling party"
Pretty timely story.........Dennis
Bill,
As I recall, this was proposed over a year ago. In PA, it never even hit the floor of the state legislature. A few legislators said something like "yea, this sounds like a good idea". Well it got drafted and once the sponsors read it, they all backed out (knowing the reprecussions from thier consituents). It never went anywhere.
They are also looking at primers having a 3 year shelf life, so ammunition could not be stock piled. The store where I buy my reloading supplies is telling customers that reloading will soon require a special license.
History Lesson 101
"We will never have socialized medicne" ............................................... Canadian citizen
"The government will never take our guns" ........................................... Australian citizen
"We as law abiding citizens have rights too" ...........................................German citizen
"We can trust our government" ............................................................... American Citizen
The question before all of us today is:Can wetrust our government to ruleas stated inthe Constitution of the United States of America? This greatest of all American documents not only establishes our system of government; it limits the power of that government, specifying our irrevocable rights and privileges as indiviiduals
I urge each of you to get a copy of the Constitution and it's Ammendments -- read about your rights and learn first-hand whatgreat freedomswe have. Then, every chance you get,go out and talk with others when our rights are being jepordized. Remember freedom isn't "free".
People that don't stand up for something will fall for anything.
Heck, stock pile what you can >>> Keep your powder and goods in a dark, dry place. You can purchase some silica gel cystals by the pound off of ebay... Get the crystals with the blue indicator crystals, also, you can pic up some indicator cards to know when you need to re-hab the crystals. All one has to do is put them in the oven for a few hours at 350 degrees . You can use the crystals over and over again. These will keep ALL the moister out of you goodies, including you weapons ... Just finished purchasing over 25 lbs last week, to place in storage pigs on the place .... Buy this stuff in bulk !!!! Also, search the internet, you can find some super prices on the crystals....
Brian: You are correct. When I got this from a friend I did not comprehend the 2008 date. I took it as going to committee now. however, we must remain vigilant as the anti-gun wheels are turning. As keifer states in his post we have much to fear from a government that tries to disarm it's citizens. The road to socialism is littered with stolen rights. When a minority tells the majority how to live it is due to not speaking up for ourselves. In the past week I have contacted four congressional offices about this "BAILOUT BS" bill they are cramming down our throats. Our children and grandchildren will be paying for their handouts and redistribution of wealth long after we are gone. Another socialist idea is the "intelligent" grid wherein they would monitor your utility usage and bill accordingly and tell you when to use your power. Oregon is considering charging for tags depending on your mileage. I know Pa. has been collecting this info for years under the guise of preventing odometer tampering,then turning around and furnishing this info to insurance companies. Bill
OK, you want to see something really scary?
Go to www.theobamaforum.com and take a look around. Some really scary people and thoughts on there. The basic premise I've gotten from the site is that the members are Socialists/Facists, want all the guns taken away, Obama will take all the money from the whites and give to the blacks and in their eyes all whites are racist.
These threads in particular were really whacked.
Don't fret too much 2-guns.
I did a little searching and this site was either created as, or has become a parity site. A lot of people are going there just to troll and stir the pot (acting both as a defender/hopeful of BHO's policies or those that say that the policies are nuts).
there is gonna be another breakdown of the united states . this time it's not gonna be whites and blacks it's goona be the gun owners against the none gun owners . on one side your gonna have the none gun owners and on the other side your gonna have gun owners then the battle will begin. then after a long and i mean very long 5 minute battle the gun owners will stop to reload and pickup brass and give the other guys a chance to pickup their kinfolks that didn't get a chance to throw their rocks . we might even fight fair we will let them rearm with a few dump trucks of rocks then the second battle will take place this one will last a whole 20 minutes because unlike before we will shoot everylast one of them we don't want anyone to survive and pass one the story of how theyheld us off for 25 minutes. . before we leave them laying there we gonna put signs on them saying where's fema when you need them??? i will never give up my guns let them send in their unarmed trops to come get them.
Tommy: You won't have to worry too long. Since Obama is now gonna have the white house and the dems run the census they won't count coonasses like you and two guns. Lol I can't wait to see who comes around to count me and the Amish. Hell, they will need two people with calculators just to try to count the Amish with all their kids. I think a revolution is brewing if they continue on the present paths. The gun owners have made this country what it is and they pay their taxes. The Idea of redistributing my tax dollars to illegals and lazy ones who won't work is just wrong. With my health I would not hesitate to fight to the death before they will ever take my guns or ammo. When I look at what has happened to my retirement accounts and pensions the idea of giving the wall street thieves more of OUR money just gets my blood to boiling. I gotta stop thinking about it now. If you have a vacuum sealer you can seal all your primers and one lb cans of powder. Believe me it works. All mine went underwater in nine ft of water when Katrina hit. It all survived.
Using key words is somewhat attention drawing now so be careful friends. Gee, who'd ever thought it??? When we had a discussion on back pain on here the other day I had a header pop up about a back massage cushion.. I really believe any time key words are used they will "show up" on a check out list and it's not just adware I 'm thinking of. I see a very different country than when I was younger.This will be gradual as it has been for the past years. Anybody ever let johnson grass get a hold in the garden?Those roots go underground every where. Then they sprout right next to the tomatoes and intermingle with the roots making it hard to get rid of..... Bordercollie
BC....I have been wanting to reply in depth to the danger involved by posting in this thread. I am afraid that there are folks that read your warning that do not undersand it's true nature.
Getting on a "list" now adays is just as simple as saying the wrong thing on a cell phone or posting on any internet application. When the "roundup" happens, it will not be conducted by idiots throwing rocks; but by trained personell with the equipment necessary to accomplish the "mission".......think about Waco; but many times more organized or equiped.
Anyway, for me, it's keep my mouth shut and my eyes open..........Dennis
BC = BorderCollie or BCZoom?
For me, I quit worrying about being on the list a long time ago. I'M SURE I'M ALREADY ON IT (AGAIN & AGAIN).
I have faith that if the round-up is even attempted, Civil War will already exist in some fashion.
