Glad to hear BaiJiu!! I loved fried food- and don't get to eat it as much as I like( bunch of health nuts I'm around) ... I do love that maccarel... but buy it in a can here..:wink: .I make it in patties- add a little green onion and flour/ baking powder to the mix.. and fry it up in just a bit of oil.. All ya need is ketchup.. None ever left on the plate for the cat or pups so we have to put theirs aside at the beginning when the "kids" are here :) :) never have had it fresh caught though... :respect: collie

I think the gold metal game starts at 7am on Sunday. Bronze medal game is on now, it started at 10am.
 
Yeah I think you are right about the time baker, tough break for the US today I never saw that coming.
 
Beautiful weekend here in Western N.C. It was sunny and in the 60's yesterday and will be in the upper 60's today. Ten days ago I was blowing 10 inches of snow.
Yesterday I loaded up my 2010 RTV 900 with about 300# of block and hooked up my small utility trailer and loaded up my JD 216 lawn tractor, trailer and tractor about 900#. I wanted to test it out for the first time with that weight on my steep paved driveway. I put it in low and it came up at about 7-8 mph. Not fast but I felt in complete control. Also went down the hill in low and felt in control without touching the brakes.
Today the RTV is parked and my wife and I are going to take an afternoon road trip in our creampuff 2002 Park Avenue which sits in the garage all the time.

I heard that there was a Canadian in Thunder Bay that missed watching the Gold Medal game today but he was in a coma so he has a valid excuse. :thewave:
 
Kanook, if only we could only have hockey of that calibur all the time. CBC is actually runnning the game again right now.

I agree.....I like the way the bigger European ice surface opens the game up. Sid the Kid didn't disappoint.
 
Kanook, I enjoyed this game so much I watched it again, reminds me of the old 6 team days. I think you hit the nail on the head with the larger ice surface, these players are so big and so fast today the normal surface size is a problem. I think there are only two choices reduce line size by 1 or increase the ice size. I don't want to see a change in line size, it would surely screw up the game. And really world wide we should be playing on the same size ice, and this is one of those times when I think NA is wrong.
 
Owners do not a bigger ice surface because it would cost them money from loss of seating revenue but the game would be much better if the ice was bigger.

Congratulations to all of the athletes who were at the Olympics as you all made your countries proud.

That is really sick, I don't know what the theme of this video is but it sure isn't about hunting, not many were kill shots and the animals were just left there to suffer. No wonder we have so many people up in arms about guns and hunting. I only could watch the first 4 minutes thinking there would be some reasoning, really does anyone think that was fun?
 
If anyone could see my HAY FIELD AND PASTURE they would understand what a hog problem can be. All neighbors know if they see a hog on my property--KILL IT.
 
Its not about fun at all its about eliminating the pigs that are tearing up the ranches in parts of the US. They are so overpopulated is the problem and hunters are only able to get a few before they run off. Yes some of then are wounded and left to die nothing is perfect that's a given in this world. Im sure if they where in your yard by the thousands you would shoot them. I wasn't trying to start a controversy just an interesting video of how they do it whether you agree with it is perfectly fine by me. Thanks Tim
