Hello again,I'm at a stopping point briefly,
I have removed the front gear cover on my 04 D902 engine to replace the cam an use a new cover.now that im ready to re assemble it,I see in the wsm to make sure you use a gasket sealor on both sides of the gasket,which I was going to use a little anyway since it does have pressure there,but also states to make sure you replace the 3 o rings!?? I know about the one on the crank.but there were none that came off of my motor when I took it off.also when I removed the gear cover on my other motor there were no owning on that one either where the wsm is saying.im a bit confused now.2 motors I take apart only have the crank o ring. Thats all....has anyone experienced this? Mayb not all use the orings?
I have seen where the o ring on the cylinder head some engines do use it,some dont...anyone have a idea here?
