RTV900 throttle damper

The throttle damper on my 2016 RTV900 has failed and it seems they are no longer available. The part # on the damper is K7561-42452. I saw on some other sites that some people just disconnect them. What's the pros and cons of doing so?

It's really not a throttle dampner it is for the hst to help prevent the sudden stop if your foot slips off the peddle. My advice is either leave it or remove and throw away and get a coast valve
