Me neither.
Did it come with any brackets? Does it have an slot in the back where it can be secured with a seat belt?

Look under the console.

From the customer reviews "There is a nylon strap on the underside to slide a seatbelt through to secure it. "

Oh man,, yes there sure is a little hoop for seat belt. !
Now if I could just figure out how to install a Small Keurig coffee maker in the dash !! lol would be setup !

Your project got me thinking that I may do the same but I have a bench seat so it would go in the middle.
I have a cheap, plastic console laying around here somewhere that I'm about to go looking for.
The one you bought looks padded at the bottom so it won't be abrasive to your seats.
Tossing this out there.
My dog would slide off the seat, especially on hills. To give her traction on the seats, I used toolbox drawer liner and when tucked in would keep it and her on the seat.

Being as my center console is cheap plastic, I'm going to use the same product under it so it A) stays more securely in place and B) more importantly, doesn't let the console dig into those expensive seats on the RTV.

Just a thought if yours doesn't stay solidly in place. ;)
