New member with new RTV 900 XT

Welcome to the forum Pepr.
I also went with the high intake filter for my 900. We have limestone crushed rock on all of our country roads and it can produce extreme dust when the weather is dry. I got my filter kit off of eBay for a decent price. Plastic bed liner is also a good investment, works great for messy jobs. I place a cow rubber mat in the bed to help reduce vibration noise - easier on dog paws when they ride in the back as well.

.
..
.... two guns

Dieselhound. What a great picture! Cherish those youngins. They'll be grown tomorrow and gone the next day. Careful not to loose that fine looking camo RTV in the corn field. Thanks for your reply. I've tried to locate the V4271 hi-rise kit at other locations besides the OEM and have not had success. Hi-rise intake is in the future for my Bota. I'm being patient iregardless of others recommendations. My patience may not be wise.

pepr.,
If not mistaken, Donaldson makes the high rise air box for Kubota. Might do some searching
for that >>>>

just a thought .....

TwoGuns, once again thanks for your help. You're quite talented!

I spoke to my Bota dealer two days ago to price the OEM hi-rise kit. He was not interested in bargaining off the $188 MSRP. I challenged him to verify that the kit inlcuded a new canister and filter to which he stated he would provide and answer before eond of that day. Guess what? Yep, no answer two days later. Gotta love em, well maybe not!

Pepr,
Maybe I can help on the contents:
From what I remember, it came with with a canister, two filters, a inner & outer elements.
Clamps, Extended tubing, hose that looked like a radiator hose, ( and I think a second one for the top also ) ... Canister bracket. Hope I didn't leave anything out.

Yep, no answer two days later. !

There are to many dealers out there that would be happy to help get you a kit.
It is a damn shame that you spend that much $$$ with these folks and they
sit on their hands when you ask for something special.

Suggestion: Take him out !!! FIND ANOTHER DEALER THAT WILL SELL YOU A KIT !!!!

Sorry, I get pissed easy....
