Does anyone have the part # for the Kubota under hood storage box for the RTV500? I found a few online but were listed under different models like the 900 and 1100. Not sure that version will fit the smaller 500. Lots of hills and bumps here and i'm tired of the rattling set up I have now

Hi and welcome Darren. I was offered one of those back in '05 when I bought my first RTV 900 and then it looked much like a small open tool box tray. They might have changed since then but anyway, I have 2 canvas tool bags I use to hold spare fence parts and tools and keep them under the hood . They don't rattle and stay in place with me putting over 4000 bumpy hrs on my first RTV before selling it for a new '11. I switched the tool bags over to it and can grab and go with 'em if I ever need to. You can go to the official kubota RTV site and do a "build your own" and see what they look like now and get the parts # or at least you could when I was shopping for the '11 . Good Luck, bordercollie :doggy:

Welcome to the forum Darren !!!
What some of us have is a storage box made out of a square like plastic tub you buy at the dollar store. Will sit right under the hood. On our 900, we carry snatch blocks, extra this, extra that, tools etc . , etc ...... in them.
Don't even know if they make a box for the 500 rtv ....

Thanks for the replies! I may have to go that route with a bigger rubbermaid container or something similar. I really liked the container with the lockable lid that I had seen in a few pictures. Found the part # (V4335) but not much more than that.

I have the under hood storage tray for my rtv900 and keep it loaded up with receiver hitch pieces and odds and ends. I would think it would be model specific as it molded to fit snug in the mounting spot. It was quite pricey but does its job good. Welcome everyone as this is my first time here.
