Hi All,
Does anyone know the cross reference to the RTV1100 battery.
It appears to be a 24F?
We may as well find out now before we all need a new battery.
The OEM looks like it runs about $350.00

Before you purchase a OEM battery. May I suggest you getting a Optima.
They carry one for the RTV.

They are under any 350 $

We use Optima batteries in much of our vehicles and machines around here.
Never no problems. That is what we are replace with.....

Type 34/78. That battery puts out 750 CCA, fits very nicely in the original battery tray, allows the original hold down strap to be used and has the battery posts at the right end of the battery.

Post Script:
Red Top is Starting //// Yellow Top is Deep Cycle & Cranking ( I want Yellow )

When RTV in not running..... We keep Battery Tender Jr.'s hook up it, along with everything else around the place .....

Holy Smokers...$350.00??? :wow:That is 100.00 bucks more than I pay for an aircraft battery! That has to have gold plated lead cells!:confused2:

I would just say  to that.
Cherokee, Although I love my 'bota, all orange parts are (like) gold.... and I buy aftermarket when I can. bordercollie

Dang that's high. I don't recall if the 900 and 1100 share the same battery but I was thinking I pay around $100 for a good aftermarket deep-cycle (although not Optima).

We use group 26R batteries in ours. We get them at Carquest, and they fit just fine. Cheap since they're an ordinary car battery.

Yesterday, bought a deep-cycle, marine, Deca type 27 from a local supplier for my Apollo electric gate........$99.95. My orginal battery in the RTV is still turning over fantastic even on the coldest days this year of 22 F................The Deca replaces a similar Walmart battery that wasnt even 6 months old.....NO MORE Walmart....when will I ever learn about some things you really pay for what you get..............God bless.....Dennis

If your "Deca" is the same as our "Deka", they make good batteries. I run them in most of my equipment after the OEM battery poops out.

Mine is still original as well. When I need one will most likely go NAPA Gold. Have had good luck in 3 diesels with glow plugs and still start in the coldest weather. Tractors, backhoes and skid steers crank a lot harder than the little RTV when cold.
