Figured it out. The transmission lever was frozen at the transmission. I forcefully moved the handle back and forth until suddenly something released. Full range of motion restored.

Hi. I have a 2024 Kubota X 1140. 369 hours on it. It’s stuck in forward gears. Low and high work, but I cannot get it to go into neutral or reverse. Also, the emergency brake is loose and has no resistance. Brake pedal feels soft as well. I can’t start the unit with the key, I have to jump it...

Good morning. Still runs rough compared to 3 others I have. I think the rod failed due to lack of maintenance. They put 608 hrs on it and never changed the oil. Dumb.

Update: Found an adjustment screw lose on top of the injection pump. It has the tamper cap on it but coincidentally fell out while troubleshooting.

Hi Everyone. I have a D1105 in a X1140 that is making me crazy. Bought the RTV with a known engine problem (it ran terrible with a loud knock). Took it apart and found #3 rod bearing lose. Rebuilt it with all new parts, new pistons, rings, crank, bearings etc. Timed it by lining up the dots...
