Has someone been through the process of insurance with KTAC? Does anyone know what % of repair = totaled? 50%, 60%, 70%. Had a large limb fall on the front hood area and after the dealer reviewed the damage it will need a new frame. The frame per se isn't tweeked, just the parts welded to it...
We tried the peppermint and it didn't work and we had it strong in a small 14' x 14' garage. Put corn in the garage for one night and by the number of chewed sacks the mice must of had a party. Will try the water bucket next.
Rearranged the garage and got the Bobcat welder out. Been without power in Round Rock since 2 yesterday morning. A bucket of water froze in the garage. Up to 22* finally. I've figured out Oncor's meaning of rolling blackouts-- when you roll into a blackout you won't roll out.
Update. Dealer called and said machine was fixed-- replaced wiring harness. Denied request for different machine, denied request for a longer warranty. Offered the extended warranty at cost. Dealer doesn't see where it has diminished value. Kubota rep was involved i'm told. Buying a new Kubota...
I don't believe I blamed anybody. Just waiting to see what they are going to do on my machine. My question was what is the dealers incentive to fix if they don't get fairly compensated. Keeping a customer would be an obvious incentive but I have bought 3 Kubotas at this dealership location...
I found this on the web. Kubota dealers didn't participate in the survey. It's an interesting survey. Shows that dealers are compensated to a degree. See attachment.
Authuritis: I will get Kubota involved. I had found a couple of used units that looked garage kept at 2/3 the cost, both had less...
X1140 has been at dealer since last Monday. It has sat in the same spot all week. I stopped by about noon on Friday to see about their plan. They ordered a new main wiring harness. They say they have to follow Kubota's outline for repair and this is the first step. I reiterated over and over...
I remembered something today. When I took it in the first time I backed it off the trailer and turned it off. The " young mechanic " came out and started it up and flipped up back seat and removed panel and put hand on motor to feel for heat, then went up and popped hood and took off the...
It hasn't boiled over or had steam and the coolant level remained the same.
Would you purchase a used one with this past issue? Would you pay market price?
I'm trying to get a feel for what others would do in my shoes. I tend to lose my temper and assume the worse when issues with expensive...
I have a thread running about my new 10 hr x1140 back in the shop for a second time for overheating. i raked the dealer pretty good this morning when I took it back in. Stated that I now have a machine that I probably cannot sell because of two warranty claims for overheating. Asked for a price...
The fan is the problem I believe. When the coolant bars on the display start climbing the fan will not come on. This morning (60 degrees)when it went to alarm i turned it off and then turned the key to on, not start, to try to get the fan to come. Before, this would get the fan to come on but...
Well finally got some seat time today and the problem still exists. I was doing a drag with cow panel and 2' x 5' 1" tube with expanded metal panel welded to it. I ran in low range about 5 mph and it didn't take long to climb to 7 bars and alarm. Texted my salesman and let him know my...
