My one year old RTV x1100c makes a lot of belt screech noise even when steering normally. Is that typical or something that needs an adjustment? It sounds like when you stress a power steering unit by rotating the wheel all the way to the stop, but happens even when in the middle of the travel...
Not much of a traditional winter here in Maine (so far). Lots of wind though and the coastal areas are suffering. I’ve only plowed once and that was only a few inches. I’m still getting used to the Boss V-Plow and the x1100c (which I’ve named “Little Joe”, don’t ask me why). But this light bar...
If you unscrew the two screws in the handle, the “puck” with the controls will become a standalone. I attached some industrial strength Velcro to a spot on the dash near the shifter and it’s out of the way but easy to reach with my right hand.
Cool. Yeah, the lower-down thing is what helped me with the new extension to the bracket. I’m so used to using side mirrors to back up, I can’t seem to get into the habit of turning around to look out the back window.
I’m not in any way affiliated with this company. But… I stumbled on these while surfing around YouTube and they’re a perfect fix for the crappy side mirrors from Kubota for the RTV X1100C. I installed them today and the mirrors now actually work as side mirrors instead of useless decoration...
After reading responses here and elsewhere I’ve decided to use the wiring I got with the light that includes its own fuse and relay. A tad more work but I’ll be positive it will work. Now if it will just quit snowing so I can get at it!
