They are indeed 2+5. I was told by Orange Aftermarket that 27" tires should be fine on factory wheel offset. I opted to go with more offset wheels purely for looks.

Went with 27" and it didn't change top speed at all. I don't even feel any loss of power.

You should have no clearance issues on the X model running up to a 27" tire. I have 27" semi aggressive mud tires on my x 1120D, with shocks turned all the way up. No rubs whatsoever, even in sharp turns and bumpy terrain.
