Will a bighorn tire rub on a 900x.Size 25 10 12 on the front no lift.Is it rated high enough c rating not hauling heavy loads.Joe

I've been running Bighorn's for more than 10 years now on my old 2004 900.

Here's part of a post I made from years ago:
The 25x10x12 Bighorns actually stand closer to 26 1/2" tall. For day to day use, I don't need a lift kit but when loaded and coming down hills into a corner, I do get a little rub in the front end.

Basically, 99% of the time, no rub but if I got in a particular situation which pushed down the front suspension, I could get a rub.

I did install a lift kit but wouldn't recommend that unless you need it. I live in very hilly land and didn't care for rise in the center of gravity.

I don't know if they still stand 26.5" tall from the factory.

I've carried heavy loads (enough to drop the bed to the rubber stops) and never had an issue with the tires.

Big horn tires

When I mounted them had no idea what pressure to run so I put them at 15 psi did you ever run them at that pressure.Crossed a creek yesterday I would of never tried with stock tires.Got stuck in 1 wheel drive added 4 wheel drive right out no problems. JOE

Don't forget that if you have an RTV 900, you can lock the rear wheels by pushing down on the lever on the floor with your heel.

Yes, I've run as low as 15 but I keep them pumped up to closer to 20 since a lot of the RTV's work is hauling full loads of firewood. Lower pressure makes the RTV rock back-and-forth more which generates pucker factor on my steep hills.

You should have no clearance issues on the X model running up to a 27" tire. I have 27" semi aggressive mud tires on my x 1120D, with shocks turned all the way up. No rubs whatsoever, even in sharp turns and bumpy terrain.
