    General Safety

Interesting Question Nicahawk but didn't we just see, no matter how many ways the obvious is presented to the horse you try to lead to water you still can't make him drink ? I do think your suggestion has merit :tiphat: and would like to see a common sense approach to the subject of safety...

SHOW us your diesel storage/filling set up.

This will be my last word for this thread! " You say" and I agree with you! I am not attempting to convince you of anything but I do think others may benefit should they choose to read the information! 1. Electrical current AC or DC is not the problem that will cause the poly drum to...

SHOW us your diesel storage/filling set up.

Fine with me and I do think that you have eliminated one of the messy chores but you also have created one of the worst of situations for what is generally known as static discharge!! It's obvious that the Hose's you are using are not static wire integrated and as such you have no grounding...

SHOW us your diesel storage/filling set up.

From my personal experience sitting inside an aircraft during a "HOT REFUEL" operation even with the turbines shut down and the fuel truck (JP4 and it's cousins) about the same as diesel, grounded to the aircraft and ultimately grounded to a live earth ground point. Under certain atmospheric...

    Seat belt - use it?

I not only have worn a seatbelt but shoulder harness's as well for over 50 years in aircraft but in all honesty It took the law to get me used to use them in road vehicles (now generally 1 or 2 miles down my rural road I do put it on)!! Now about the subject at hand, Do I use it on my Tractor...

""I would like to thank EVERYONE who's been pulling for me through this. I'm doing OK, and only want to spend a certain amount of time dwelling on the subject. It's not that I'm trying to hide from it, just that I want to occupy my mind with other things when I can. Believe me, I've spent enough...

    Oil pressure problem

No! I wouldn't think that you hurt anything as what you saw of course was a thicker oil taking longer to energize your light/gauge but the pressure was already there to the bearings! As Paul says it pays to use the manufactures recommendations even though you don't use their brand!!

New project - 4WD Articulated Tractor

Hate to bother the Inventor/Tinkerer IN Chief (ITIC) of NTT! :hide: I do have a few questions when you have the time or the inclination to splain! 1. What type/output of hydraulic pump will you use? 2. How will you power the above pump? It's a great project and wait anxiously on the...
