Just a general question here............

Is there enough interest in having a section on safe operating practices...........

Some topics might be; posts on seat belts, operating on slopes and hills, firearms on tractors, safe trailering practices, towing, chains or straps, recent posts on fuel transportation and storage, correct battery charging procedures, general welding safety, storage of our gas welding and cutting bottles, children around our equipment while in operation, and I'm sure many others.

There's an 'awful bunch' of experience among our members who have been there, done it, and lived thru it to provide input

I'd like to know how others feel.....comments?

There is never enough discussion on safety practices when it relates to tractors, tractor attachments, tools, equipment, and/or firearms. Jay

Interesting Question Nicahawk but didn't we just see, no matter how many ways the obvious is presented to the horse you try to lead to water you still can't make him drink ?

I do think your suggestion has merit :tiphat: and would like to see a common sense approach to the subject of safety (being overly safe in my opinion is a formula that's just as prone to accidents as the fellow who just gets away with just being unaware or worse)!

I am going to start a forum on this very subject on TL and see what happens with it!
