Basic tool kit? What would you recommend?

I have found small tool kits with basic sockets, screw drivers and pliers at harbor freight for 29 bucks. This and a small air compressor would about do it I'd think. Then you can blow up a flat tire and take it home to change it. Most of us do not carry a spare.

Kubota Rtv x1120 will not move on slope after being flipped on side

Very strange. So you can head straight downhill, driver side downhill or straight uphill without the issue? Sure sounds like lack of hydraulic fluid but I read that you already thought of that and topped it off. Since it runs we know it's still getting fuel. Turning off and restarting...

Kubota Rtv x1120 will not move on slope after being flipped on side

By saying will not move are you saying it will not start, or it starts but when put in gear it revs up but does not go? And once on flat ground it starts and goes as normal.

    Here's a "Talk About Anything" - II

I'm shocked at the color. Makes no sense. My uneducated guess is that it was cause by marine Stabil.

    Here's a "Talk About Anything" - II

Metal tank? What color is it inside? The color has to come from somewhere or some chemical reaction to something in the gas. Very strange.

    Hello From Portugal

Hi and welcome. Good friends visited Porto and absolutely loved it. Porto had a huge festival that they stayed a couple extra day just to attend and be part of the party. They raved about the place and the food. Plus the prices were a pleasant surprise. Cheaper than they were used to...

Why is the RTVX series so highly regarded for tough work?

I also have two side by sides. RTV x1100c and a newer Honda Pioneer 1000. I had sold my previous RTV's when I bought the Honda. I missed the hydraulic dump and needed it to spread some gravel on a long stretch of my trails. I found a good buy on a 2015 x1100c and bought that. It was like...

Why is the RTVX series so highly regarded for tough work?

I think it's the longevity. RTV is tough and lasts a long long time. They started making the RTV in 2004 or 05. We still have those machines working according to our members. I do not think the other side by sides last near as long without major issues. Another plus, the RTV has had a...

    Tires

I bought Blackwater evolutions and love them. Great in the mud. I will not be doing a 2" lift. So I cannot comment on that option. A link to one of the many tire threads: https://www.nettractortalk.com/forums/threads/new-tires.17909/

Excavator with a brush hog attached. WOW.

I was sure glad the cab window held up okay. Some brush did hit the glass hard. Made me flinch. Had a good bit of pucker factor on the steep hills. Thankfully the blade would stabalize me while I cut away. So much fun to pulverize a 12 foot tall multiflora monstrosity. Grind them down to...

Excavator with a brush hog attached. WOW.

Appetite for Destruction: I rented a John Deere 35G excavator with a brush cutter. It was delivered on Thursday. And I have to admit. I'm in love. This thing is so awesome. Super duper awesome. It was able to clear the area in question in record time I had it reserved for a week but...
