    New 1120 has finally arrived!

Thanks, I plow up to 2000 running feet of driveway between mine and the neighbors out here depending on how many are gone when it snows. The Kubota/Curtis plow on my 900 has served well since I upgraded to larger skids but at 74, I'd like the warmth of the cab and would like to have the...

    New 1120 has finally arrived!

Nice plow setup. You said it was the commercial unit and I can believe that by the much larger skids and heavier supports across the back than my standard Kubota/Curtis unit. Might I ask how much? As I get older the full hydraulic models are making more sense. Bob

2008 RTV 900 starts then dies

Agree with this. Diesels are pretty straight forward so I'd start with checking fuel pressure. Generally if it's in spec they run unless there is an electrical gremlin like a bad solenoid, as previously mentioned.

    It's not a big job

Question, Am I to far north for them? I've never found them locally although they are prevalent in the southern part of the state. Around Paw Paw, Michigan I think! I'm located on the southwest side of Saginaw Bay. IAC, thanks to all for the nice feedback. Great forum. Bob

    It's not a big job

But it demonstrates how much help the 900 can be. As I roll through my mid-70's I'm finding more ways to limit the stress on the old frame and the 'Bota is a real help. We lost several ash trees that were a feature on the side lawn of the house. The area was sculptured with rock and edging but...

    What If...

My streetrod has a 6-speed manual and it's great for tooling around but my 900 is used for a lot of snow plowing and close maneuvering in the woods. I'd chose the hydro over the manual every time and I don't have the stress on the drivetrain the manual can deliver. JMHO

    X900 heater installation

I won't try to talk you out of the installed heater idea but a few of us on the forum just use these in the winter. My cab is a hard cab but I plow in a light jacket with it. It fits in the cup holder. https://www.golfcartstore.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=189 Bob

    2014 1100c

That's about 13700 USD currently. I'd say well bought. Report back this winter on the track system if you get a chance. Nice 1100.

    2014 1100c

If you can have a dealer check it out, so much the better. If not, be sure it was serviced regularly, look it over good for rust and check all the joints (CV, universal, etc.) for play. Then go for a long drive in both 2 and 4 wheel drive and try everything that is evident. If you still like...

    Metal doors X900

If those are the style doors you want, why not have a local metal shop fabricate them. Locally Ackerman Brothers wouldn't have any problem with them. In fact, if you can weld, they could be a nice weekend project. Buy the tubing and sheet metal then cut and weld the frame. Cut out the sheet...

Trouble making it up a hill.

Any friends in the Air National Guard? https://youtu.be/gzcYz_ljyTg Rocks gone, gravel left around the area. :a1:

Here's a "Talk About Anything" thread

Nice work Mark. It was just cloudy enough here that the pin hole and box tricks didn't work well. Thanks.

Never considered some states would not allow sales of the repair kits. Gotta Love Amazon for you folks.

TSC and a lot of other stores have this. I have used three of them to solve your problem. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/ez-pour-universal-replacement-spout-kit

X1100 rtv spray buggy with cruise?

Rostra makes a line of aftermarket cruise controls for cars that don't require vacuum and the speed signal can be generated off the driveshaft. They connect directly to the throttle actuator. I don't know if they will control at 5 mph but you might talk to them directly about your needs and see...

    More questions

My Curtis blade says Kubota on it so IIRC, they were a supplier to Kubota. The blade has survived pretty serious use in snow and gravel for several years and it should be good to go for you also. One caveat, The OEM skids 1/2" diameter and I bent two of them the first year. I bought a couple...

    More questions

Hard for me to believe that a non-Kubota plow would void the warranty also. Kubota has a customer service phone number on their website that might be worth a call. I'd also be wary of that dealer.

    Help deciding!

IIRC the Kubota plow is made by Curtis. I have a Curtis on my 900. Manual side to side, power up/down like yours. The Curtis is a nice plow and has moved mountains of snow with little damage for 5 years but if I were to buy a new one, it would be a V-plow. Why? Easier to break the first pass...
