Does any UV come with a tachometer? I don't think so. That's odd that removing the idle adjusting screw had no change. Well, the front drive shaft may look "mickey mouse" but it gets the job done.

It depends on the production date for the 2006 units, and all 2007 units have them.

Order some via your local dealer...they are easy to install. They utilize existing holes on the lower a-arms.

You are really limited by the gearing in the HST, so finding more power out of the engine will only get you 2-3 more MPH. In other words, it's not really worth messing with or do like many others and buy a Rhino for speed/play and keep your RTV for work.

Setting the idle "high" helps reduce noise/vibration inherit with small diesel engines. Idle RPM should not adversely effect shifting...that is primarily dictated by the HST's neutral setting. I think the factory idle setting is 1,200 RPM (I'll try to confirm that later).

All OEM RTV1100 tires are 6-ply as well, so they should be fine and fender clearance should be about the same as the RTV900 if not better (you should have more front fender clearance).

Snow blower not snow blade...there is no snow blower for the RTV (at least nothing Kubota offers) and you can get a snow blade from Kubota for the RTV (made by Curtis Cab).

I've heard of some mining operation that put well over 1,000 hours on a RTV900 in just 2-3 months time...RTVs are certainly built Kubota tough.

Re: Key? Bet lift? The keys are the same for all RTV900 units. You can also get a hydraulic lift cylinder kit from Kubota if you have a 1st year Rec. model or general purpose model.

Ah, a RTV900 Euro model with Mauser cab and that is a nice snow blade! Oh, and that is someone's custom paint job. Looks pretty good but the RTV900 SE model looks better. [;)]

It does look better in person...you can't see the metallic finish in that photo. So-so quality digicam and bad/bright lighting doesn't do it justice.
