I haven't done much under the hood other than checking the oil. It's been so nice to not have to be working on a tractor before using it. I'll be under it for sure next week while I'm off on spring break. I need to grease it up and get it ready for spring. Plus I didn't think about have them...

Yes it takes another person to hold the pole if you want the pole dead on in line with others. Or I've got an old pair of vise grips with the big mouth I can use with the holes in the side to hold a t pole if I need to single handed. I've only put 100 t poles in so far, slightly bowed only one...

Does it have to be a gallon container? Tractor supply co. had quart size cans of it.

That's half the fun! Plus I like to take a manual with me when my wife drives. Gives me something to hold up in front of me so I wont stay so tense. :wink:

Did you get the book or CD? My daughter thinks the CD would be better but it's hard to take that out to the tractor. I would have to print off a section as needed.

I seen that also... I was checking out the list of cars, looking for VW's and had to do a double look Tuesday. I also never knew Porsche made tractors. I was wondering what the deere went for.

Make me an offer on these. I'd like to get them out of my way.

Thanks Doc, yea I had been a bug guy for years till I got a chance to drive a bus. Don't feel like so enclosed in these. Of course, I know they are looking at the bus but as yet I've not had a woman not smile at me when I pass. :cool: (Don't tell my wife!)

Don't know if any here like VW's but I have a lot of fun with them. Been messing around with them since 1982. Here's my latest one that is a keeper for me. Picked it up a year ago, it was a rolling hull. I've been working on it a little here and there. Here are more pics of it...

Hello Robin, welcome to the site, I also have felt the weak legs when I would spend hours on my old tractor. This new one I have now isn't near as bad. It also has safeties connected to the seat the old ones didn't. The tractor manufacturers are making an effort to protect us at least. Granted...

I can't comment on their tractors, but I had a farmpro labeled box blade. It was pretty cheaply made.
