had the same problem on my 900. It was a bad glow plug. Check the resistance on each one , any one with resistance higher than 6 ohms is bad. You can get them at Napa , around $20.00 each. Bill

you can buy the bulbs locally. just remove the bulb and get the correct part # off the bulb. bill

i had a te20 and yes the pto had to be running for the lift to work. i think the 8n were the same way. not sure

raise the front of the tractor and let it idle with the radiator cap removed until it burps .

glow plugs use a multimeter and check resistance. It should be no more than 6 ohms. all should should be fairly close to each other in resistance. I had one go bad on my rtv900 recently. all the readings were 1.7, 1.7, and 37 ohms. guess which one was bad.

deer feeder look up capsule feeders. These feeders are varmint proof and can be loaded from your tail gate. I have been using them for four years without a problem. They are not bear proof. Bill

make sure the radiator is not semi plugged up internally. In autos, overheat at high speeds is most always stopped up radiator.
