    RTV x1100 Tranny Adjustment

Yes. Measure the charge pressure. The higher it is, the more 'positive' the tranny will be. If you have it up around 120psi it will really pull the engine down on hills.

    RTV x1100 Tranny Adjustment

To make the transmission more 'positive' on hills you need to turn the charge pressure up. Remove the tamper-proof cap at the bottom, right side of the tranny and turn the allen screw in a turn or 2 until it is at the desired positivity.

    RTV x1100c oil foaming

Figured it out.....inlet pipe to the hydrostat below the filters wasn't sealing properly. Was sucking air it when it was running.

    RTV x1100c oil foaming

The oil I drained out of it was fairly dark even though the tag on it said it only had 200hrs on the change. I'm wondering if there may be residual different oil in things. I had the tranny off and apart so the only old oil should have been in the power steering/box lift circuit. I'm going to...

    RTV x1100c oil foaming

How long should I cycle it fully open each time I do it?

    RTV x1100c oil foaming

I did use kubota filters and udt oil. I ran the hst at idle back and forth several times, but the bubbles persist

    RTV x1100c oil foaming

Just finished rebuilding the gear portion of the tranny on my x1100c from a failed bearing. Put things back together and filled everything up with oil. Started things up and there is a lot of aeration of the oil in the tank under the seat. If I run in for a couple of minutes, turn it off and...

RTV 500 Cooling Fan Running Constantly

I replaced the temp sensor and the fan still runs all the time. Any other suggestions?

RTV 500 Cooling Fan Running Constantly

New to me RTV 500. The little cooling fan under the seat runs constantly. Pretty annoying. I tried switching relays to no avail. Any problem with just pulling the fuse? The radiator fan will still work...temp gauge only ever gets a needle width off the bottom anyway.

    B6100e differential shaft

I've got a little old B6100e Both differential shafts broke at the brake drum so I'm after the pair of them. Kubota up here wants $1000 for them which is more than the tractor is worth, so wondering if anyone has a set they'd like to sell? Same as on the B7100.

Kubota B3350 Quit, now won't turn over

I think I worked it too hard while it was trying to regen, leading to overheating the dpf, causing a shutdown until things cooled off.

Kubota B3350 Quit, now won't turn over

When the regen light is on it means that it's trying to burn the carbon out of the particulate filter. If it fails to do this the machine eventually won't start.

Kubota B3350 Quit, now won't turn over

After it cooled down for awhile it did restart. The regen light was on solid, so I left it at full throttle for 30min or so and it completed the cycle. I'm wondering that because I was working it pretty hard mowing while it was regening that it overheated the dpf and shut down?

Kubota B3350 Quit, now won't turn over

Kubota B3350 550hrs Was mowing while the regen light was on. Without warning the tractor shut off. The engine warning indicator is on constantly now, and the regen light is flashing, but it will still not even turn over. I jumpered the starter and can get it to turn over, but it will not...

    Reusing New Torqued Head Gasket

It appears so. Says to install new gasket, torque down, measure with soldier, remove head and add or remove shim if necessary, torque down again, run engine for 30min, then torque again.

    Reusing New Torqued Head Gasket

Manual says to insert in through and injector hole.. It should measure 0.028-0.035". If not within measurement remove cylinder head and add correct shim. Install cylinder head and torque bolts Retorque after engine has been run 30min

    Reusing New Torqued Head Gasket

It didn't have any shims. Manual says if there aren't any, put it back together without one.

    Reusing New Torqued Head Gasket

That's what the manual says to do....interesting

    Reusing New Torqued Head Gasket

I have the service manual for it and it says to torque it down, measure the distance between the piston and head with a piece of soldier, then add or remove a shim if required and retorque the head. Warm it up for 30 min, then retorque again.....
