I would have someone work the knob and see if it has the proper range of motion. Not sure if there is an adjustment on it.

On the newer ones the pressure relief is built into the brake pedal. I think the one you have they came up with a bridge solution before they redesigned the transmission.

First year of production was 2013. Your local kubota dealer can tell you exactly what year it is and if there are any outsatnding recalls on it. Additionally they can tell you is if is stolen.

The parts are readily available here in the US. I would bet Messicks would ship overseas but if you can get them from your dealer they would be cheaper.

I do not think that has any effect on the hydro unit. there is a precharge unit on the hydro that can cause you problems. go to kubotabooks.com I do believe there is a work shop manual there that will walk you through the trouble shooting of the hydro unit. here is the link. last entry on...

they fixed the shifter fork issue on the x models. since you have the hydro unit off it probably makes sense to open it up and check the status of the motor and pump inside. That unit runs between 6 and 7K for a new one. take a look at recent posts by sparks here...

did you replace the super UDT2 in the tank under the passenger seat and is that reservoir full? the suction screen can be plugged and the hoses can collapse causing problems.

get a sniff of it, if it smells sweet you will know it is coolant. That only works if you are using antifreeze. Not sure what you use in HI.
