Yeah Peanut, the RTV's still have the limited slip with a locking/unlocking rear diff. I wish the had made the front locking as well for going straight up hills. You would only use it if max traction was needed and for me that is straight UP the hill.

I agree. There is something out of adjustment if your 500 is having trouble climbing. My 500 will climb hills that are down right scary as long as I have traction. Of course that is in low 4wd and diff. locked. I have the stock atv tires and if it wont go it is because of mud and 3 tires are...

I also love my 500. I wish more people had them so I could learn more about ideas for tricking it out. Seems most folks have the 900 or 1100, so not much discusions on the 500. To me the 500 is a combo of the best of both worlds. It is a Bota, so we know it can work and last for a LONG time...

Thanks for the info. I was concerned with rubbing the wheel wells when turning and hadn't really thought about them hitting over bumps. I may just end up being the guinne pig if nobody has tried it yet...
