You're going to cut the ROPS off??? Not good by most standards. Remove it... OK if you have to, cut it off, no good.

I love backpack blowers but not on anything that has fins (e.g. A/C, Heat Pump, radiator...). I've bent the fins so that's no longer a place for that machine.

Do you have a jumper box? If so, connect it to the starter solenoid and a good ground and try to start it. Check any/all connectors to the starter relay.

Hmmm. I have a 2004 RTV900 and I've only run off-road/red diesel through it and have had no problems. You have an 1100 (different engine and didn't specify how new) so I really can't advise.
