    New Holland tech???

New Holland tech. I'm not quite sure if your description of that term agrees with mine, but I spent some years with a New Holland dealership back when the TL series tractors were sold new. I worked on my share of them at that time, and got to know them fairly well. I've read your posts (here...

    service manual for LK3054

What makes you think you will need to make that adjustment? I've replaced hundreds of clutches in all manner of tractors. Only on the rarest occasion was there a question about pressure plate adjustment. Before rolling the two halves together I measure the distance from release levers to the...

    Ls mt225e

So the "hose hanging down" goes to the backhoe? I take it the backhoe is currently installed and when it's removed that hose stays with the hoe and needs to be pulled out from under the tractor? ? Where does the other hose from the backhoe connect to the tractor? The top hose in the photos (the...

    Mahindra 6530 Inj pump problem

Yes. If the engine is set/timed for pump installation, the pump is locked, mount it up and go. If possible set it so the slots give you room on both sides, tighten it down and see what happens. Then we go from there.

    Mahindra 6530 Inj pump problem

If the pump shop installed a key that's not a good sign. They should know better than that. Sorry for all the questions, but you had this problem to start with, had the pump rebuilt, and still have the problem? What did they tell you was wrong with the pump? I'm wondering if you paid for a...

    Mahindra 6530 Inj pump problem

My experience is most lock timed pumps do not use a key. Are the external marks factory or your marks put in place before you pulled the pump? If there are no factory marks I will usually make my own before pulling a pump. Just a reference point for myself later when things like this happen...

    Mahindra 6530 Inj pump problem

My experience with these tier 3 VE pumps goes back a long way. In most of the cases I've dealt with the spitting, sputtering, smoking, run like crap condition is (or at least very often is) caused by just slightly incorrect pump timing. You put the rebuilt pump back on (or someone did?) in as...

    Mahindra 6530 Inj pump problem

So This problem was there before the pump rebuild? Is the problem still there after the rebuild? Just what are you asking for here?

    2012 mahindra 6530

It's your choice to start taking things apart. Do whatever you like. Personally, from what I know of the pumps if the wire on or off makes no difference then there's most likely nothing going on in there that's part of your problem. Just be aware that every one of those pumps I've sent off for...

    2012 mahindra 6530

Many of the tier 2 and tier 3 engines use a version of the VE pump. I'm not sure which one you have. Does it have what appears to be a fuel shut off solenoid on the left side of the pump (right out in the open) and angled slightly up hill? Or does it have a larger unit farther back mounted...

    2012 mahindra 6530

There are at least two different injection pumps used on the 6530. Maybe more. Which one you have will have a bearing on just what cold start system you're dealing with. Is your tractor a tier 2 or tier 3?

That makes sense. I stumbled onto the site a few years back and was surprised at the focus on RTV's, but I guess this explains why that is. Thank you

I just wonder how this website started out and how it has evolved since then. I'm not necessarily a frequent visitor here, and even less frequent contributor. But I do find it interesting that the name is Net Tractor Talk yet tractors are rarely discussed here. Example. At this point in time...

    Question concerning tilting the bed

Thanks guys. That's a good starting point. I don't deal much with RTV's. I get calls every now then on one, mostly Gators. This one runs okay, nothing wrong with it I'm aware of. Just needs an oil change.

    Question concerning tilting the bed

So what's the trick to activate the hydraulics?

    Question concerning tilting the bed

So you're saying that normally the bed tilts with hydraulics, not manually?
