I can completely remove the idle adjusting screw with no change in idle rpm. Too bad Kubota chose to have a useless speedometer instead of a tachometer. They probably had their reason! I personally am more concerned with the flimsy (micky mouse) front drive shaft.</P>

I can back the idle screw completely out and it does not change what I consider to be a high idle. I think mine idles at about 1,000 rpm! Too bad the machines have a speedometer instead of a tachometer!

Here are the pictures of the toolbox I made vs. spending over $100 for one from kubota. I added some text to the pictures that halfway explainhow I did it.

Only SMALL issues--- There are too many rattles. The front drive shaft splines should be tighter. A tachometer would be much better then a speedometer. Not much chance of getting a speeding ticket![:)]
