Grote mirrors on RTV1100

I got a pm from a member a couple weeks ago. Just ran across the notification in my email. He asked about a posting I'd made back in 2008 regarding my mounting of Grote Jr. West Coast Mirrors. So, as a service to all, here is the original picture and description. Both brackets go on the door...

By the way, I want to get a versatile welder that will also handle lighter materials and also possibly aluminum. Thanks again - Doug

    welding

bc - I do have shoes on it, and when the plow is sitting on the garage floor, the shoes hold the blade 1/2" off the floor.

    welding

I have an 1100 with LT720 Blizzard plow and I'm in my third season of plowing. All has worked well so far, but one of the driveways I plow is very rough, so rough I have to go slow and pick up the plow a bit off the surface or it will be catching every few feet. Anyway, like I said, all is well...

    Boss snow plows, any good?

@kenmur What year 900? Does it have a pressure relief knob? I have an 1100 with Blizzard 720 plow in northern NY. When pushing into a pile I usually (but not always) raise the plow as I get close to the end of the run. Then I pull the pressure relief knob and hold it before shifting into...

Blizzard 720 LT Plow on RTV 1100

@XTrooper - I also have an RTV1100 with a Blizzard LT720. This is my third winter plowing with it. I plow one driveway in particular which has large (3" diam.) stones in it, and so far there have been no problems. The Blizzard mounting system is the best I've seen (I am NOT a professional)...

Thank you. I played it several times, crying each time. Can't say any more.

    Pucker Factor

On second look at the pic, you can see that the camera is tilted to the left, so as to be more parallel to the ground. This was not intentional. Notice the trees in the background. Real level is indicated by the protractor level (the silver ruler part of the instrument). I was unconsciously...

    Pucker Factor

I agree, from the pic it doesn't look like much of a hill. See if you can get an angle/degree measurement on the levee. I'd be interested. I'm pretty sure the 1100 will climb much steeper grades, but HOW steep? I don't want to find out the hard way. Just being cautious in my old age!! Rather not...

    Pucker Factor

    Hello all -
I've been reading posts here having to do with steepness of hills. I'm still new to my RTV 1100, and I wouldn't want to roll or tip it over. I was driving around in the back yard today and went up a hill (4wd, M range) carrying 200 lbs of 8' long pallets in the bed that hung...

    exscuse me for ranting!!!!

Tommy - No need for an excuse on this. I said the very same thing last night to my wife. It was difficult to watch TV today without running into Jacko in the news. As you said, where is the coverage of Farrah?

Caution Pay attention would love a quieter exaust!!!!

I'd feel terrible if I had run over my dog. It would be unlikely though, as she is normally riding shotgun. Glad he is OK.
Anyway, there is a thread from last summer
http://compacttractorreview.com/cs/forums/p/3368/16107.aspx#16107
that discusses mirrors and has pics of my...

    Welcome back to rusty

Just got my first one - $15.50 per week. I guess I can go out and put a down payment on a big screen TV. Or maybe I should set my sights lower and buy a case of beer. After I get done, I'll still be able to get $1.20 in deposit back.
River

Border collie - not the member, but a dog.

My neighbor had two labs, a black and a chocolate, a few years ago, with electric collars and buried wire around his couple acres. Most of the time they stayed inside the wire. But once they both got a running start, hit the "fence", took the shock, rolled a bit, picked themselves up, and...

    Remote Start

I read the eBay ad for this starter and yes it sounds great. Then I read all of our comments and realized that there were a lot more things to think about. The ideas bouncing back and forth here are just amazing, as always. This is the best forum I've ever seen, thanks to a great bunch. What...

Get It While The Gettin' Is Good

it holds two guns and 100 rounds of ammo easily all i do is dremmel out the inside dividers and drop in some foam
What is your preferred method of cutting gun-shaped holes out of the foam? I've thought of this myself, but haven't done any yet. I have a few cases sitting around.
