That's what I think as well. They have a good idea but like you I think having a twin lift gas tube would be better. While it worked it was real good. Having other equipment around the farm having a dump bed is not important for me, just helps to lift the bed for servicing.

I bought into the gas lift assist as well. I have had it on my 900 for about 6 months now, when new it worked great, it would pop up with just the smallest amount of force even with a full load of wood. If the bed was empty it would almost dump on it's own and was not too hard to close. But now...

I agree some times the best option is to leave it alone, but Ms. Money bags wanted some doors to keep her dry. It's not a problem while moving but while stopped it gets wet. Had some bit of rain down south AR hunting this year. pepr, I'm just south of Little Rock, the city limits is creeping...
