The 8 or so years I had a 770 it required very little more than routine service. When I purchased it from the original owner it had a slow fluid leak on one of the hoses, he parked it on cardboard and added a little fluid every so often. I did the same for a year or so. I finally was smart...
I feel your pain, they put 2B in the approach area when I built my pole barn. I fooled with it for a year, never packed down. Moved and rutted with every tire turn, even a 4-wheeler. Friend recommended the 2A, so we spread it on top of existing stone. Leveled it then soaked it with a sprinkler...
I'll join the 770 band wagon! I purchased one about 9 years ago to maintain my 10 acres that we built our house on. It had been used primarily for mowing with a 60" belly finish mower and occasional brush hogging and had been well taken care of. It came with the belly mower, bush hog, rear...
My '06 900 doesn't have an odometer either, but it's about to hit 700 hours. It had about 230 hours on it when I bought it about 8 years ago. I use it exclusively puttering around my 10 acre property, so no big road or trail trips. It's been a great work horse that I've hauled just about...
I've had good luck with the Tom Cat pellets in the small bags for mice (don't have rats). My wife saves the small tubs dishwasher pods come in for me. I drill 2- 1" holes, about an inch up, on opposing sides and they make good bait stations. Easy to open, slit the pouches and place inside and...
This is embarrassing, I've been weed eating my pond dam with my phone in my pocket to listen to my Bluetooth headset and am apparently posting a mess. I'm so sorry.

The fuel gauge on my RTV900 reads high. It shows full when it is down quite a bit and then all the rest of the readings show much more in the tank than actually is there. Any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix it?

I believe this...
I have had Line X in my last 3 trucks and really love it. I wanted to add to my RTV bed for added protection. Problem with doing it to a "used" vehicle, not recommended unless you disassemble everything, prep and paint as new. I decided to pass on the Line X but still felt I needed something...
Ok, the next thing to address was the tools I use a lot. Loppers, always using and either have to stuff in the bed with what I'm trimming or lay in the floorboard. Made a caddy to mount on the front winch mount. Also has a tray for a chain and a place for an extra receiver hitch.

I also added a SMV sign and a rear view mirror (amazon). Still think I want some side mirrors, just not sure what. Have read mixed reviews on them.
I wanted to put in a radio to listen to while working but was concerned about battery drain. My son solved that with a Bluetooth speaker! I made...
