You could always retrofit your existing controller with an aftermarket controller. It wouldn't be "plug-n-play", but with an ohm meter, a pad of paper and a pencil, you could ring out which pairs of wires do what, find a aftermarket controller with the same amount of buttons, cut the plug off...
