Hey, new to this forum, lots of interesting things.

Just purchased a RTV 1100 and really like it so far. I understand the intention of the machine but would like to get a higher top speed. Going to put bigger tires on, dont know wheither to get 26 or 27's. I know the bigger will cut down power, what are some suggestions. Is there any way to adjust to get higher speed. What do you adjust on the 1100 injuection pump to get more fuel?

Thanks

You just purchased as far as I am concerned, the best utility vehicle on the market. Myself, own a RTV 900, purchased it right before the 1100's got released. Love the RTV so much, plan on making another purchase after the first of the year, and going to be a 1100 series unit. And also, of course, it's going to be ladies ride. She wanted one for herself, and would really like that a/c & cab. So kinda planning on the other one for her...... Just weeks ago installed a new set of 27" ITP's with new aluminum rims. Really like 'em, and really didn't cut down on the power at all, for the RTV has got the power to put out. Will attach a photo of mine with the new tires ...Also, take it you already know about the two stage transmission pump in the RTV's, if not, need to learn how to use it for your best performance and power. There is also a thread on this on this site .......

Really like the speed & powerset from the factory, and another thing, I don't want to start jacking with the equipment, for one thing just leads to another . Kubota has got this thing set to a tee !!!!But, was to ever have the pump worked on, it would be by a professional Kubota mechanic .Heck, goes fast enough to kill ya ~~~~

Really like the power of my RTV , and enjoy the turtle speed myselffor hunting & doing my deer management thing .........

Welcome to the forum.

If I were you, I'd stop at tires and not mess with the injector pump. There's tamper-proof caps over the access bolts to the pump. As soon as those are gone, you probably just voided the warrantee on your engine.

Thanks for replies. Im going to travel the road a lot and just like a little more speed, and warranty really dont mean anything to me. Any other suggestions?

Thanks

With all respect, the only thing I can think of is purchase you a second utility vehicle, something like a Poloris Razor >>>> that way you'll have one for power & onefor speed >>>>>>>>>>

You are really limited by the gearing in the HST, so finding more power out of the engine will only get you 2-3 more MPH. In other words, it's not really worth messing with or do like many others and buy a Rhino for speed/play and keep your RTV for work.
