I have a 2013 1100 and curious what you guys get for top speed - assuming flat dirt road, two passengers, no load. Mine seems to hover around 20 mph - does that sound about right?

I have a 2014 kubota X900, the top speed on flat ground is 24 mph. Only had it at that a couple of times, my normal speed is 10 to 15 mph.

should do a little faster than that check the spark arrestor also make sure the throttle is hitting the throttle stop when fully depressed

Your altitude above sea level could affect your engine power. Also check you HST lever adjustment, I believe it should come forward to within 0.040" of max. Check out the thread about HST Adjustments. Your max engine RPM should be 3200, but I adjusted mine to 3400. I've tweaked my 2010 RTV 900 to get up to 28-30 MPH. You can check some of my posts and pictures, I cut off the factory spark arrestor and installed an external aftermarket one with better flow and longer intervals before cleaning. Good luck.

I have a 2012 1100 RTV. I have not checked it with a GPS but the speedometer reads just a tad above 30 mph on a level paved road -- and a tail wind. I also have the OEM worksite tires.

My experience is exactly the same as 628pm. 24 m.p.h. top end, usually 10-15 and that is plenty good for me.
