Anyone have a 1140??

I'd like to see pics of the bed/seat conversion along with any dialogue that might be applicable??

Thanks!!!

Excellent Aurthur, thank you very much!!!!

I'm concerned about the Hydraulic dump being able to handle a load of dirt in the longer bed version though. But it sure increases load space capacity for lighter materials!!!

I haven't had a problem with it dumping dirt, feed, firewood, bricks, fence post,or anything I have put in the bed. Now with that I have the older model not the new independent suspension one

Richard,

It will dump anything you can put in it....we have abused our 1140 to the max in the long bed version ..and could never make it not dump.

Awesome Jon. Sounds like they beefed up the dump system to handle the extra load.

I'm anxious to see one up close. My nearest dealer didn't have one last time I was there.

Thanks for the response Jon

We have loaded it with enough dirt/gravel that it won't dump. You will learn the limit after doing that once and load accordingly. Works great. We had our entire bed coated with Line-X. This is a factory option on the X1140 (it was not an option on the original non-x 1140).

Thanks for the response and the picture. That's what I expected. With a full load of dirt mine will dump but it struggles. Add a foot of bed forward and it wouldn't dump. I can see by your picture that you don't load the front of the bed with heavy material.

I also totally understand your comment: You will learn the limit after doing that once and load accordingly :)
