Got a question about something that has popped up on our RTV. Here in Texas it is still in the 90's and I have noticed when we are out taking care of things on the place that when we stop somewhere for even a few minutes and go to take off I hear what sounds like three chirps coming for the HST area. The RTV has to be hot from driving for a while and it is in the middle of the heat of the day. I found I can start off in High gear and I do not hear it but we use low 90% of the time just because of the slower speed in the woods.
The HST fluid level is good and the fluid and filters were changed about 100 hrs. ago. Until the RTV gets good and hot we never hear the noise. Anyone have any input if this might be an issue or nothing to worry about. Other than this noise everything seems to be running as normal. RTV has 3600 miles and about 600 hrs. on it.
