6.5 fisher plow on rtv

If you don't already have the Kubota heavy duty front coil springs on your unit, you should get some. The 80inch Blizzard which is similiar to what you have is what I have on mine and along with the cab weight, without the hd springs the front does a squat when the blde is lifted. The springs are less than $100 uphere in Canada and are probably cheaper in the USA.

Other than the springs, your RTV will have no problems. The springs are standard with the hard cab from bota up here, so if you have the hard cab already, you probably have the hd springs already .\Is the minute mount a electric over hydraulic?

Hope this helps ................

Aquired the unit late this past winter so didn't get the opportunity to try it out in heavy conditions. March was a light snowfall month this year which is highly unusual. We usually get some pretty heavy dumps that time of year but not this year. I did get to push some heavy wet stuffbut it was only about 3inch and the bota had no difficulty. I'm looking forward to using it next winter along with my F3060 outfront snowblower in my little driveway cleaning business. I'm curious to see if any ballast will be required in the back for traction.

The pic is old..I've had the blade sandblasted and epoxy primed and is now painted ORANGE and ready to go.

got any more pic of how it is mounted on there Kanook? Isyours a self contained unit or does it run off the hyds on the kubota?

ZEN26..........

Its self contained. Unfortunately the mounting portion is currently on my Backyard Buddy hyd lift with a lot of other stuff. Will get a pic of it and the mount on the front of RTV and post later.

ZEN26..

The mount is attached with the 4 bolts at the front into the "bumper" and 2 bolts at the rear that are at the front of the skid plate. I'm not familiar with the fisher mount but hope this helps in your fabricating.

K.K., From your post, did you install the V4219 HD springs yourself? I need to know if the replacing of the OEM spring with the HD spring is merely swapping the springs (using all the original parts otherwise). Thanks, Captain

Kubota is now selling a RAD tractor plow for the RTV's. I've seen both, and I think I'd prefer the RAD blade, the control package seems better.

Does anyone know what the rtv side mount costs for the blizzard 680?... I aleady have the plow mounted on a jeep, and am thinking of selling the jeep and putting the plow on my rtv900.

That blade will fit right on the RTV with the correct RTV end of the mount...as you say. Unfortunately the docs I have don't talk about the Kubota end. I,ve found the Blizzard people helpfull at the address below. Good luck.
