900x soft doors

I've got Kubota VC5095 doors on my X900. Not real happy with them, but not really dissatisfied either,, kinda SoSo,

If I had it to do over I would order the VC5000 top instead of the VC5011,
A glass windshield instead of the VC5023 Hard-Coated Polycarbonate,
and Maybe the metal doors..

My '05 model 900R has the dealer-installed Curtis soft cab doors. They're OK, but not totally weather-tight. I still get some cold air and dust into the cab. They do an OK job of keeping most of the rain and wind off (I have a glass windshield, too), but are subject to the usual soft plastic crazing, scratching, etc. The optical quality is now pretty seriously deteriorated and the original Velcro straps that are supposed to retain the rolled-up plastic windows are about 50% gone. Having said all that, I'm glad to have them when needed! I can't remember how to post pics here, but if I can find my notes I'll repost with a picture.

Cab on my X900

Here is the cab on my x900, I take the doors off during the summer. Has worked out pretty good. but if I had to do it over again I would just of bought the 1100c, it would of been a little more expensive but worth it.

I too have a RTV 900 and have the Curtis Cab enclosure with soft doors. I agree with Cajun regarding the cons with the doors. They aren't air tight but definitely keeps the wind and cold out. I too wish they were a better fit.

I also don't like the "suicide door" swing. Opening and closing the doors while driving in tall grass or brush is not good. If the doors swung the other way, as most doors on vehicles swing, it would be much better. Parking would be much easier as well while exiting the vehicle with normal swinging doors.

There is ONE thing that I do appreciate about the "suicide" doors on my 900.

When I tow it on a trailer, I put it on backwards to protect the pricey glass windshield. In this position I don't have to worry (too much!) about the doors popping open at highway speeds.
