A REAL TEST

I was out looking at my property's logging roads and noticed that over the winter I have had a lot of erosion around several of my culverts. I live in the UP of Michigan and we have a big logging industry up here (BEST HARD MAPLE IN THE WORLD).
I thought, what the hell, I pick up some of the rocks I have removed from my fields along the property line and dump them in the eroded areas around the culverts.
I started loading them in the back of my RTV900 XT. I was pretty cautious at first and kind of went easy. Well several loads later I was wishing I had a set of those nice looking side boards. I had heaping loads of heavy rocks, Kubota did not even squat! worked fine in all ranges (Low, Medium, High) and the hydraulic dump worked great!! She sure did ride better, gosh I think I will keep a couple thousand pounds in the back just to smooth out the ride! HA!

Just enjoying the Kubota and the site as well!:wow:

Glad to hear you're enjoying its true capabilities.

Peanut started a thread awhile back about how much people can carry in their RTV. It was pretty interesting.
It's been awhile but I think I had close to 3/4 ton in there. The spring stoppers to the frame were squished pretty good. The hyd dump wouldn't do it until I got a little out. Oh, and the steering was nice and light.

yea the rtv can sure haul it's weight around for sure. speaking of bed sides i'm working on a set of bed rails this set is 7" high but can be made to other hieghts i'll have some pics up tomorrow of what i came up with so far.i made bed rails in the past and to this day i haven't heard of anyone bending them.

I had some of my sons buddy's come out and go down by the creek to target practice. went over the hill after it had rained alot( 2 inches +) about 150 yards down. They were in a 1/2 ton ford pick up with bald rear tires. They were stuck . Could not even get started up the hill. Got down with the Kubota and hooked up to the truck. They all said there is know way this is going to work. I said this is alot less trouble than getting the big tractor out of the barn. If it does not work I will get the tractor out. Well to there suprise the Kubota pulled the truck up the hill. I told the guy driving to put it in geer and just ease into it. Do not spin the tires, and if you hit the Kubota, this truck will have a new home down hear buy the creek.

If you could see what I have hauled and where I went on mine ans all the other stuff I got into you would be surprised. This machine just plain goes!!!
