man i went to pull the cable out my winch today and clean/oil and respool it and what do you know it don't work no more!! you see my brother brought his kids over one day and while i was gone he got into my rhino and held the winch button down and winched the cable in til the battery was dead well alteast i thought it was just a dead battery . well the day i seen it i couldn't release the winch no other way other than to turn theknob and free wheel it to release the cable from the bind but i never tried to winch the motor with the battery charged til today. and the verdict was burnt up contact and winch motor. so now i'm swappin out my winchs i'm putting my 2500lb warn back in and i have to send the gorilla off it's supose to have a life time warranty i guess i'll find out???</p>
always check your winch to see if it still works!!!
