American Eagle RTV 500 Plow

I'm also looking at the cycle country plows on the site that I'm ordering the tracks from atvtracks.net. They offer free shipping on all their plow set ups and maybe I can combine a deal with the tracks. They have a state model for $495 or so. Did you look at these? I see they are offered at the site you gave me.

I guess the only concern of mine is the stoutness of the frame. As long as it is built well for the $ I'm good to go.

I did consider the Cycle Country but it was recommended to me that I buy the American Eagle over the Cycle Country, I was told that American Eagle was a little better to deal with after the sale if you break something they will just replace it. I don't know how either company is to deal with first hand because I still haven't broke anything. According to all the feedback I had received American Eagle was a good rugged plow, the Cycle Country had mixed reviews. Looking at pictures of both plows online they look very similar.

I made a lift when I had the American eagle plow for my rtv 900. It used a pulley with the winch and would lift the plow straight up and almost hit the front brush guard. Wish I took pics. It would lift the plow so high that the face of the blade was parallel to the ground. The american eagle is a cood co. I had to make some extentions for the plow mount to clear my tracks and I called them to see if I could get the brackets that the pins go through (on the plow frame) into the bumper brackets. They sent them for free.

Heres a crude drawing but you get the idea. The lift was hooked into a winch mount I made (kind of like a muti mount for the 4wheelers) in the stock location where the winch mounts. It could be made to fit where the front trailer hitch goes. The lift fit very close to the brush guard.
